Wondering what we’re up to?

Posted on: Nov 7th, 2012 by Charlotte Sanders

It’s was a busy start to the year and we are happy to confirm that things are only getting busier! Each week between now and the end of term, there will be up to two shows, a drama club session, workshops, fundraisers and socials so please keep checking on here, on our Facebook page and on our Twitter for updates!

This Week: The Memory of Water by Shelagh Stephenson
10th-13th of November

Performed in the Performing Arts Studio, Lower Ground Floor, Trent Building

Someone dies, you drink whiskey. It’s normal, it’s a sedative, it’s what normal people do at abnormal times.” Three sisters; Teresa, Mary and Catherine, come together before their mother’s funeral, each haunted by their own demons, each possessing different memories of the same events. Darkly comic, the play shows that even in traumatic times, humour can be found anywhere.

The Nottingham New Theatre UNCUT presents: Moon by Dave Porter 12th-13th November

Performed in the Business School South Auditorium, Jubilee Campus

In the first of this season’s UNCUT shows, three Oxford physicists enjoy their quite comfortable academic lives until they are told that NASA is about to lose the Space Race and are embroiled in a plot to deceive the world. Or are they? Moon is a play that explores truth, knowledge, secrets and lies, and how we can survive in a world we can never fully understand.

Written and directed by Dave Porter.

Produced by Phil Damms.

Doors are at 6.45pm each evening and tickets are just £3!
