The Nottingham New Theatre

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from The Nottingham New Theatre!

Posted on: December 18th, 2012 by Charlotte Sanders

It’s been a great Autumn Season and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our members for their hard work and commitment! Without them we wouldn’t have been able to put on:

– 7 main season shows and 6 uncut shows (49 performances altogether!)
– 3 freshers fringe performances
– Weekly drama club sessions and workshops
– A whole host of fundraisers, after parties, socials and a ball
– And of course we moved into our fantastic, newly renovated building!

This couldn’t have happened without the work of each and every one of you and we can’t wait to do it all again in 2013!

**The whole committee would like to wish all of our members, visitors and friends a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!**

Next semester will be just as busy and exciting as the last so look out for another jam-packed season.

Some dates for your diaries:

***PROPOSALS***

For all aspiring directors and producers make sure you come along on Sunday 27th January 2013!  This will be your chance to propose your idea for a Main Season show to the committee and if successful put on a show during the Spring season. If you know you want to direct a show next season or are simply curious for more info, get in contact with James McAndrew our Productions Co-Ordinator. Send an email to him at: productions@newtheatre.org.uk and he’ll be able to give you all of the advice and guidance you might need for putting together a proposal.

***SPRING SEASON AGM***

Wednesday 30th January 2013 (1pm and 3pm)
Make sure you’re free for this one!
We’ll be announcing all of our season shows and explaining all of the opportunities to get involved next season.
